The prestigious program is “the original Olympic development program,” according to US Youth Soccer. Players try out for the high-level US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program through a series of trials at their US Youth Soccer State Association. From there, they are exposed to some of the nation’s best coaches, trainers and facilities.

Molly scored a goal in the semifinal game on Friday, February 26 as the Cal South 00 team defeated Eastern New York 00 in the semifinal by a score of 5 – 0.

The team went on to defeat North Carolina 00 on a goal scored in the 60th minute for a score of 1-0!

Playing with the Olympic Development Program starts in the summer with regional tournaments, then continues from there. Molly moved on to play in the Regional ODP tournament in January along with her fellow Breakers, Heron Martinez and Arturo Rocha from B98 Black!  Heron and Molly were named All-Tournament Team Players from the January Tournament!

Go Breakers!
