The Oceanside Breakers Competitive Program offers professional coaching and a higher level of play for players ages U8 to U19.
Players must try out and be selected by a staff coach. See below for tryout details.

What Do Registration Fees Cover?
Oceanside Breakers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable programming.
The competitive season is a 10-month program, and registration fees include:
- Professional coaching staff
- US Soccer/Association membership and insurance
- League fees
- Administrative and operational support
- Fields/facility usage and lighting
- Equipment
- Team training camp
- Goalkeeper training program
- Select skills clinics
⚠️ Not Included in Registration Fees
- Uniforms
- Team Fees, which may include but are not limited to:
1. Tournament entry fees
2. Referee fees
3. Other team-related expenses(coach reimbursements)
Team Fundraising and Fees Policy
Teams are encouraged to organize fundraising activities to help offset costs associated with their season. However, all fundraising efforts must receive prior approval from the club before taking place.
All players are responsible for paying team fees, regardless of their participation in tournaments or league games
Please note:
- All Team Fees remain with the team’s account and do not transfer with individual players once the season ends or if a player moves to a new team.
- Any remaining team funds at the end of the season will roll over to the next season and remain available for use by the new team.
- Teams wishing to use remaining funds in their account, prior to the end of the season, must submit a request for approval to the club before any expenditures are made.
Fall League Play (All Teams)
- League matches begin in Fall
- Up to 12 league games per season
- Teams practice 2x per week
- High-level teams may train 3x per week
- Some teams may travel out of state, depending on their league
- Goalkeeper training is included for all competitive players.
Additional Notes & Fees*
- 9% Discount offered for full payment at registration
- Payment plans available during online registration
- Special leagues (e.g., NL Premier, NPL) may incur additional fees up to $450 per player
- Traveling teams (50+ miles) will be responsible for additional coach expenses (e.g., mileage, food, hotel)
